West Ham to progress unscathed
West Ham have looked defensively robust of late, and the Irons’ are capable of keeping a clean sheet on their way to eliminating League One outfit Doncaster Rovers in the capital on Saturday.
After a rocky December, the improvement in West Ham’s defending after the turn of the year will have pleased David Moyes greatly, and having secured clean sheets in four of their last five matches, another shutout looks possible against Doncaster at the London Stadium.
Rovers are going well in League One, though Donny could never be described as prolific. Doncaster averaged a relatively meagre 1.45 goals per 90 minutes in their last 13 assignments, and their lack of thrust in the final third could see them struggle to make an impact at West Ham.
With their strong defensive foundations key, the confident Hammers have won four games on the bounce, and having won to nil in three of those matches, the Irons are favoured to repeat the trick on Saturday.
Alongside our win to nil selection, a 2-0 West Ham correct score prediction also appeals. The Irons haven’t notched more than two goals in 15 straight games since mid-October, and a Doncaster team that holds one of the best defensive records in League One should be able to keep the score respectable in the capital.
