Rotary offers annual scholarships

The Bob Williams Memorial Rotary Scholarship, sponsored by Rotary District 7305 Foundation, will award eight $5,000-per-year scholarships to 20-21 academic year. High school seniors and vocational and GED students in Allegheny, Beaver and northern Westmoreland County are eligible to apply.

Students must have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher and complete an essay that highlights their community and school service.

Complete application materials are found on Rotary District 7305 website, rotarydistrict7305.org, under the Bob Williams Scholarship link and from school guidance counselors. Applications must be postmarked by Feb. 28.

Harrison diaper pantry plans monthly drive-up distribution

The Diaper Pantry at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, Harrison, will distribute diapers 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 926 Painter Ave., and at Sheldon Park, both in Natrona Heights.

Recipients must drive up and remain in their vehicles.

First-time recipients must still provide present their own identification, the child’s birth certificate and a current WIC or SNAP card.
