The $75,000 Kathryn Crosby Stakes will run as Race 7 on the October 31st card at Del Mar.
The event for 3-year-old and up fillies and mares will cover one mile on turf and include names like She’s Our Charm, Qahira, Cordiality, and Colonial Creed among the field of eight.

One of the top entrants among the field is Deborah McAnally Trust’s She’s Our Charm. The 3-year-old filly from Candy Ride is trained by Ronald McAnally.
She has a career record of 3-1-1 from seven starts and earnings of $129,240. In 2020, she has two wins and one second from five outings.
The filly is coming off an October 16th allowance optional claiming victory at Santa Anita, where she registered a 113 Speed Figure. She also finished second in another back on September 5th at Del Mar and won on March 7th at Santa Anita.
She’s Our Charm will break from Post 4 under jockey Juan Hernandez.
She will be up against Baoma Corporation’s Qahira. The 4-year-old Cairo Prince filly is trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert.
She is 4-1-0 from seven career starts with earnings of $158,960. Her 2020 runs include one win and one second from two outings.
Last time out, she took second in the September 25th Chillingworth Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita. Her other performance was an August 16th allowance optional claiming victory at Del Mar, where she registered a 107 Speed Figure.
Qahira will break from Post 7 under rider Abel Cedillo.
Betting Preview: Cordiality, Colonial Creed
Another impressive runner among the field is Donnie Crevier’s Cordiality. The 7-year-old mare from Papa Clem is trained by Tim Yakteen.
She has a career record of 12-7-3 from 33 starts and earnings of $620,815, making her one of the more experienced horses in the field. In 2020, she has two wins from four outings.
Her most recent performance was a victory in the October 3rd Swingtime Stakes (Black Type) at Santa Anita, which followed a fourth-place finish in the August 15th Solana Beach Stakes (Black Type) at Del Mar. She also took the July 12th Osunitas Stakes (Black Type) at Del Mar, which resulted in a 111 Speed Figure.
Cordiality will break from Post 6 under Drayden Van Dyke.
Doug Branham, Richard Baltas, and Jerry M Clanahan’s Colonial Creed will also be among the field. The 4-year-old Jimmy Creed filly is trained by Richard Baltas as well.
She is 3-3-2 from 12 career starts and has earnings of $180,801. In 2020, she has one win and one third from four outings.
The third-place effort came last time out in the October 3rd Swingtime Stakes (Black Type) at Santa Anita, and she won a June 14th allowance optional claiming race at the track.
Colonial Creed will have to overcome the outside Post 8 under Mario Gutierrez.
The rest of the field (post, jockey) is set to include: Ellie Arroway (Post 1, J. W. Sadler), Never Be Enough (Post 2, M. Badilla), Proud Emma (Post 3, P. Miller), and Muchly (Post 5, S. Callaghan).
