KevMac previews the weekend action ion the Premier League with a look ahead to what could be fiery Merseyside Derby.
Liverpool v Everton
LIVERPOOL returned to form in midweek with a Champions League win and now bid to spark their domestic campaign back to life in a Merseyside derby.
I fancied RB Leipzig to pile more pain on the Reds but instead Jurgen Klopp’s men claimed a 2-0 win.
That has given them a much-needed shot of confidence and McBookie make them 40/85 favourites to end a three-game losing run in the league with an Anfield win over Everton.
Their record in the derby is excellent and you have to go all the way back to 2010 for the last Toffees victory in this fixture, which is why they are 21/4 outsiders.

But the last two have ended in draws so don’t rule out another stalemate at 7/2 with McBookie.
The 2-2 draw at Goodison earlier this season was fiery, with Jordan Pickford crocking Virgil van Dijk and Richarlison sent off for a lunge at Thiago Alcantara.
There were six cards in total so it could pay to back another busy day for the ref.
Over 3.5 cards is priced 5/6 (Bet365) while Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure is 11/4 (BetVictor) to pick up his seventh card of the season.
Southampton v Chelsea
The Premier League action kicks off with a lunchtime clash between Southampton and Chelsea at St Mary’s.
The Blues have conceded just one goal in six games since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival as boss while Saints have lost their last five league matches.

However, I fancy Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men to score today, with BTTS priced 5/6 with McBookie.
Southampton have been quick starters all season and they are a tempting 13/8 for a first-half goal at Betway.
Aston Villa v Leicester City
There could be some value for punters tomorrow as England’s Europa League representatives head back into domestic battle.
Fatigue could be a factor and that might help Aston Villa to beat Leicester, with Dean Smith’s men 15/8 with McBookie for a victory.
West Ham v Spurs
Spurs impressed as they crushed Austrian side Wolfsberger on Thursday but now face a tricky trip to in-form West Ham.
The Hammers are a tempting 30/17 to win at SBK but it might be safer to go for BTTS at a best 5/6 with the same firm.
Spurs have shipped eight goals in their last three games but are a threat going forward so over 2.5 goals appeals at evens (Unibet).
Arsenal v Man City
Manchester City have romped 10 points clear at the top and will look to make it 18 wins in a row as they head to Arsenal.
The Gunners shocked City by beating them in last year’s FA Cup semi-final but are 5/1 outsiders with McBookie here.
However, I fancy them to score and I like the look of the 19/20 SportNation offer on both sides netting.
Man Utd v Newcastle
Manchester United’s title bid has come off the rails but they should still be too strong for a Newcastle side in relegation trouble. I fancy Anthony Martial to score here at 7/5 (BetVictor).
- Over 3.5 cards in Liverpool v Everton (5/6, Bet365)
- Aston Villa to win (15/8, McBookie)
- BTTS in West Ham v Tottenham and Arsenal v Manchester City (224/100, McBookie)
