Pratibh Saluja And Gaurav Sood Claim Top Prizes At APT Online Series India Day 2

Day 2 of the Asian Poker Tour Online Poker Series India was played out last night. Let’s check out who all made it big last night and earned big payouts after an intense Day 2!

APT#6 DST 5 Lakhs GTD

Day 2 started off with a 5L GTD event for a buy-in of INR 1,100. The tournament received a total of 589 entries (293 entries+296 re-entries), creating a total prize pool of INR 5,89,000, 72 places paid with a min. cash of INR 1,825. ‘Dilbaghsingh’, who just missed out on glory on Day 1at the 5 Card PLO event, entered the DST event fired a couple of bullets and ended up shipping the event! Prakash ‘pinnug’ Gupta finished the event in second place. The final heads-up match between the two lasted around 10 minutes after which ‘dilbaghsingh’ took a big chunk of ‘pinnug’s’ stack. ‘Dilbaghsingh’ doubled up holding A♣ Q♥ over Q♠ J♦ on a dry board.

‘Dilbaghsingh’ shipped the event for a payout of INR 1,11,321 while ‘pinnug’ earned himself a payout of INR 78,042 for second place!

APT#7 Turbo 5 Lakhs GTD

Next up was the Turbo 5 Lakhs GTD for a buy-in of INR 1,375. The tournament received a total of 458 entries (255 entries+203 re-entries) creating a prize pool of INR 5,73,000! This resulted in 54 places being paid with a min. cash of INR 2,633. Pratibh ‘pratibhsaluja’ Saluja shipped the event after beating Anant ‘anant_infiniti’ Malik in the final heads-up battle. It was a very short heads-up match between the two. Pratibh had a 2:1 chip lead and quickly ended it pocket Sevens over A3o.

Pratibh Saluja shipped the event for a payout of INR 1,15,072 and Anant Malik earned a payout of INR 80,665 for second place!

APT#8 Mini Main Event Day 1B 50 Lakhs GTD

The Mini Main Event Day1B was the main attraction of the second day of the Asian Poker Tour as well. The featured tournament of the day received a total of 288 entries at a buy-in of INR 5,500! A total of 32 survivors were able to make it to level 27 and earned their places in the Day2 of the Mini Main Event! Arun ‘Yoda’ Poply took the chip lead from Day1B into Day2 of the Mini Main Event with a massive stack of 5.28L chips, followed by Himanshu ‘pokerbrat7’ Arora who finished second in chips with a stack of 2.58L chips.

APT#9 Superstack 7 Lakhs GTD

The penultimate event of day 1 of the Asian Poker Tour was the INR 2,750 buy-in 7 Lakhs GTD Superstack event. The tournament received a total of 359 entries (199 entries+160 re-entries) creating a prize pool of 8,98,000, 45 paid places and a min. cash of INR 5,026! ‘Mojo93’ shipped the event after beating Siddharth ‘siddonuts’ Pandey in the final heads-up. Mojo93 was ahead 2:1. Siddonuts grinded and overtook. Mojo93 answered with a double up holding A♣ 2♥ trips against A♠ 9♥ on a board 3♦ 8♥ 10♣ 2♦ 2♣. This gave him an 11:1 chip advantage that Siddonuts could not overcome. The final hand was pocket Jacks dominating 79o. Mojo93 earned himself a payout of INR 1,88,475 while ‘siddonuts’ earned himself a payout of INR 1,31,932 for finishing in second place!

APT#10 PLO 5 Lakhs GTD

The final event of Day 2 was the PLO 5 Lakhs GTD event for a buy-in of INR 1,375. The tournament received a total of 447 entries, creating a total prize pool of INR 5,59,000! With 54 places paid and a min. cash of INR 2,570, Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood beat Sankalp ‘Wobbegong’ Marwah in the final heads-up to ship the event.

Gaurav Sood entered the heads-up with a commanding 3:1 chip lead. It didn’t take long for Sood to close it out. The final hand was Sood A♥ J♠ 8♦ 9♥ straight to Marwah’s 6♣ 4♣ 10♠ A♠ two pair on a board 8♣ 2♦ 10♥ A♣ Q♦Gaurav Sood shipped the event for a payout of INR 1,12,308!
