Park Lane Club Appeals License Revocation

The UK Gambling Commission revoked the license of Silverbond Enterprises this week, but the Park Lane Club Casino owner has said that they’ll appeal the ruling.

The suspension was announced on November 4th after the company’s ownership changed hands. The regulator said that they weren’t sure that they would have granted a license if they had applied for the initial Park Lane license, so they needed to revoke the certification.

The casino didn’t need to close its doors as the order was stayed pending the appeal, but it will be closed due to the Covid lockdowns taking place throughout England. The casino will remain closed until at least December 2nd.

A company statement on the matter read: “Silverbond Enterprises Ltd has confirmed that it will be submitting an appeal to the First Tier Tribunal against the decision of the Regulatory Panel of the Commission to revoke the operating licence. The appeal will be submitted before 18 November 2020.”
