It will/might be a battle of unbeatens in Week 5 as the 4-0 Buffalo Bills are scheduled to travel to Tennessee for a marquee matchup with the undefeated Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Sunday.
The Titans Week 4 tilt with the Steelers was postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak in Tennessee’s locker room, and after several consecutive days of negative test results, it was revealed on Wednesday that at least two more Titans tested positive, putting Sunday’s game in jeopardy once again.
Assuming/hoping they play, we still have the preview below for what should/could be a great early-season clash.
Circling the Wagons
The Bills are no stranger to fast starts, but this is the first time in 12 years they have gone unbeaten through their first four games. Buffalo averages the third-most points (30.8) in the NFL after wins over the Jets, Dolphins, Rams and Raiders.
Offseason acquisition, Stefon Diggs has already produced positive returns as the wideout is tied for the most receiving yards in the league while quarterback Josh Allen is second in the NFL in passing yards. Allen’s 12:1 TD:INT ratio is not too shabby either. A win Sunday would mark the first time since 1991 the Bills would improve to 5-0.
Tenn out of Tenn
It will be interesting to see if the Titans are able to put the distraction of last week behind them to focus on a very good Bills team, amidst a solid start of their own, coming off their appearance in the AFC Championship game.
Tennessee has chalked up wins over Denver, Jacksonville and Minnesota and a win Sunday would mark just the second time in franchise history they would have started 4-0, with the other coming in 2008 when Kerry Collins was under center, handing off to Chris Johnson.
The backfield now is led by Derrick Henry, who is fourth in the league in rushing despite only playing three games.
Tennessee vs. Buffalo Betting Lines
MyBookie has the Bills, who are 3-1 ATS this year, as the 3.5-point favorite for this one. Despite a 3-0 record, the Titans have yet to cover the number on the young season.

Can Mike Vrabel get his players to focus solely on football and the AFC-East leading Bills? Tall task as it wasn’t a typical bye week in Nashville. The Bills are playing as well as anyone and we expect that to continue on Sunday if the NFL gives the game the green light.
