A fantastic NBA Friday is headed our way, headlined by two of the best teams in the league squaring off in a cross-conference matchup.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be headed out west to take on the Utah Jazz.
Utah has been neck-and-neck with the Lakers all season for the best record in the league and continually put five players who can score at will on the floor every night.
Milwaukee had a little bit of a lull, but has vaulted themselves into second place in the Eastern Conference, only behind the new look 76ers.
These teams have been impressive for different reasons as the season has progressed, so it will be fun to see them go head-to-head.
They should be locked in to get this one going, so let’s break down the matchup and determine your best bets for this game.
Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview: A Fearsome Big Three
Trading for Jrue Holiday might have been one of the best decisions that the Milwaukee Bucks made in this past offseason.
It was treated as a massive star on the move, and has produced star results.
He is the perfect fit to work with Giannis and Middleton, and Middleton has been able to elevate his game as a result of this new trio they have formed.
Matching up with the Jazz will be tough, as Rudy Gobert has a chance to slow Giannis’s dominance in the paint.
I don’t think any one player can truly defend Giannis, but he certainly won’t be allowing easy buckets inside.
Even if he fouls him, Giannis has only gotten worse at the free-throw line, so I would not feel threatened anymore by that.
Utah Jazz Betting Preview: Same Roster, Different Team
The Jazz were wildly disappointing last season, and have been underachieving a few seasons in a row now.
It was the perfect year for people to sleep on their roster that did not make any significant changes to what was already there.
The crazy thing is, you can see it in their play. It is evident that their players are used to each other’s tendencies and have a crispness about them on both sides of the ball.
They have a really good team that can matchup with this Milwaukee offense.
I think their guard play will be huge in this game between Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell.
Holiday might be able to take out one of them, but he certainly can’t stop both.
Bucks @ Jazz Betting Odds and Lines
Coming into this matchup, MyBookie has the spread packed in tight, with the Utah Jazz being home favorites by 1 point.
It seems as though both teams have only gotten better as the season progresses, and they continue to show why they are both serious NBA Finals contenders.

With how evenly matched these two are, I don’t think there is a wrong choice and you could reason for either team to win.
I like Milwaukee to come out and make a statement win, as it’s one of the only things lacking from their resume so far.
