NBA Betting Preview: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings – Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021

The Sacramento Kings are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, but they’ll be facing a very tough opponent on the road for an exciting end to the week. They’re traveling to STAPLES Center in LA to take on the Los Angeles Clippers in a game that starts at 3:00PM ET.

Both teams are playing well right now, but only one can walk away victorious. I have a feeling defense will play a major role in this one, with the Clippers allowing 107.6 points per game and the Kings allowing a whopping 118.8 points per game. The Kings have been better lately, but consistency is key moving forward.

The good news is the Sacramento Kings are bringing a healthy roster into LA — with the exception of DaQuan Jeffries. The Los Angeles Clippers have a little more to worry about, with Patrick Beverley, Paul George, and Jay Scrubb listed as out for tomorrow’s game. That’ll make a huge difference in the outcome.

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview: Can the Kings win their fourth game in a row?

The Sacramento Kings began the season on the right side of the bed, winning three of their first four games. They quickly hit a wall soon after, losing nine of their next 11 games. Luckily, they’ve been playing lights out the past few weeks and have strung together three-straight wins and six wins in their last seven.

They’re coming off an impressive victory against the Denver Nuggets less than 24 hours ago. They allowed Nikola Jokic to score 50 on them, but the Kings’ 119 points were enough to make it through. They also had an impressive four players score 21+ points (Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, DeAaron Fox, and Tyrese Haliburton.

Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview: Will the Clippers bounce back after losing to Boston?

The Los Angeles Clippers have been extremely consistent all season long. They currently own a 17-7 record, but have hit a little rough patch recently. They’ve lost two of their past three, with those two losses coming against the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets. They’ll have a chance to make up for it on Sunday.

They’ll need a strong performance from Kawhi Leonard if they plan on doing that, especially with Paul George out. Kawhi is averaging 26.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. They’ll also need Serge Ibaka, Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, Lou Williams, and Luke Kennard to step up big-time.

Kings vs. Clippers Betting Odds & Lines

Which of these two California teams will walk away with the big W on Sunday afternoon? BetOnline has the Los Angeles Clippers (-110) with the 8.5-point advantage over the Sacramento Kings (-110). I think it’ll be a much closer game than that, but I guess we’ll find out!

This is going to be an interesting game. If the Clippers had Paul George, I would have a lot more faith in them to pull out the win. Unfortunately, they’ll be down both George and Patrick Beverley. Not only that, but it’s against a team that is playing their best basketball in a very long time.

The Kings are proving they can beat anyone in this league. During their three-game win streak, they’ve defeated the Nuggets, Celtics, and Pelicans. I have a feeling they’re going to add the Clippers to that list in what’ll be a closer game than the sportsbooks are currently predicting.

Final Score Prediction 109-105, Sacramento Kings
