Missouri authorities are investigating a hate that is possible after two men suffered serious injuries in an attack outside of the Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles this past weekend.
Both males had been addressed for accidents at neighborhood hospitals from so-called punches and kicks. They are going to require ongoing treatment that is medical KTVI, a local TV station, reported.
The assailants allegedly made slurs that are anti-gay attacking the 2 males, based on among the victims. However the attackers proceeded to presumably beat the men up despite their pleas to stop the violence.
One man suffered a nose that is fractured eye-socket. The accidents will demand surgery, KTVI reported.
The Other man was became and attacked unconscious, KTVI said. He will lose teeth that are several the report adds.
The Saturday two men had been inside the casino early. They were accompanied by friends and relatives.

St. Charles authorities and a prosecutor’s that is local were continuing to investigate the crime early this week. Police have yet to classify it as a hate crime.
“There’s a dispute as to what type of language was used back and forth,” St. Charles Police Lt. Tom Wilkison told KTVI. “At this time, we don’t have anything to support that the two people got beaten up or targeted because of their orientation that is sexual.*)If Any of the assailants are convicted of a hate crime, the true number of years in prison would increase from a possible four years to seven years, the report said based on Missouri law.
It appears the incident was captured on video surveillance cameras at the casino. But KSDK, another TV that is local, stated the tape doesn’t consist of any sound for the statements made through the altercation.
Victim Asks: How Can We Feel Secure Now

“How do we go anywhere and feel safe whenever we have assaulted here, particularly someplace like Ameristar, whom must have security that is top-notch. It could happen anywhere,” the victim told KTVI.
In response to the incident, Ameristar released a statement to local media:
“The safety and security of our guests and team members are among our highest priorities, and we have a robust security and surveillance presence throughout our property if it happens there. We’ve zero-tolerance for many who commit functions of intolerance or violence and are working closely with law enforcement in their investigation.
