Orlando, FL (August 2, 2020) – Faded Spade® is pleased to announce that its new virtual poker tournament offering, the Faded Spade Card Club, will be home to a unique charity poker tournament for Miracle Flights that includes a live stream show featuring Brad Garrett, Richard Kind, Michael Ian Black, and Oksana Baiul.
“For so many families, postponing life-saving medical treatment is simply not an option,” says Miracle Flights CEO Mark E. Brown. “Every dollar raised in this tournament will not only help alleviate the financial burden these families face, but also ease the emotional stress that comes with having to travel during the pandemic.”
Poker players of every skill level are invited to go all-in for a good cause on Wednesday, August 5, at 4 p.m. PST. A $100 donation earns donors a spot in the virtual tournament—and goes directly to support Miracle Flights, the Las Vegas–based nonprofit that provides free plane tickets to families who need specialized medical treatment far from home.
You can donate to play at https://miracleflights.org/poker.
Faded Spade Founder & CEO Tom Wheaton will lead the live stream on Twitch at Faded Spade Live with high stakes poker professional and Founder of Solve for Why Poker Training, Matt Berkey.
For donors in Las Vegas, the HyperX Esports Arena at The Luxor is offering an exclusive opportunity to join the virtual tournament in a socially distanced, public setting. Food and drink will be available for purchase, with each donor logging in from their own private station.
“We’re honored that Miracle Flights chose our new virtual poker platform for their first-ever fundraising poker tournament,” said Tom Wheaton, CEO of Faded Spade. “We look forward to creating a live stream show that informs and entertains while creating connectivity between their tremendous celebrity guests and all tournament players or viewers.”
Wheaton added: “I ask our poker community to show support to Miracle Flights, and their efforts to provide life-saving services, by donating and playing in this virtual poker tournament.”
“I’m excited to co-host the Miracle Flights charity poker tournament on Faded Spade Live,” said Matt Berkey. “Our poker community has become known for philanthropy, and we should do all we can to play and showcase our great game for fundraising initiatives that benefit those in need.”
The Faded Spade Card Club has become a popular choice for charitable foundations to run their virtual poker fundraising events, or bring their previously scheduled live poker tournaments online in a custom white label way.
Many organizations like Morning Brew, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Jason Taylor Foundation, Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, Breast Cancer Alliance, CBS Fantasy Sports, and more have held white label branded virtual poker tournaments on the Faded Spade Card Club.
