Karan Kapur and Gautam Rohilla Wins Day 5 Of APT Online Series India

Day 5 of The Asian Poker Tour Online Series India

Day 5 of the Asian Poker Tour Online Series India was played out last night. Let’s check out who all made it big last night and earned big payouts after an intense Day 5!

APT#21 DST 4 LAC GTD

Day 5 started off with a 4L GTD DST event for a buy-in of INR 1,100. The tournament received a total of 428 entries (221 entries+207 re-entries), creating a total prize pool of INR 4,28,000, 54 places paid with a min. cash of INR 1,968. Ashit ‘nexus010’ Sharma won his first APT title and shipped the event after beating Vivek ‘Vivek25’ Dubey who finished the event in second place. ‘nexus010’ took down 4 players on the final table including ‘Vivek25’. Both players tugged at the lead with ‘Vivek25’ seen shoving the most and doubling up multiple times. However Sharma earned a double up as well and went on to win it immediately after. The final hand was Sharma Q♦ J♥ full house to Vivek25’s A♠ 3♥ on a board 2♣ 2♠ Q♣ 9♠ Q♠. Ashit Sharma earned himself a payout of INR 86,028 for shipping the event while Vivek Dubey earned INR 60,305 for second place!

APT#22 Mini Main Event 50 LAC GTD Day 2

Next up was the all important Day 2 of the Mini Main Event 50L GTD! The tournament received a total of 976 entries across 3 flights with 118 survivors making it to Day 2, creating a prize pool of INR 48,80,000 , an overlay of INR 2,00,000! With 98 places paid and a min. cash of INR 12,500, ‘IntelInvest’ shipped his first ever APT event after beating Sahil ‘bluffme19’ Chutani in the final heads-up battle. ‘IntelInvest’ went on to close it out with J♠ 4♦ two pair dusting K♣ K♠ on a board 5♥ 4♠ J♦ 6♥ 3♦ with the shoves seen on the turn. ‘IntelInvest’ earned himself INR 8,48,500 for shipping the event while Sahil Chutani had to settle for INR 5,62,000!

APT#23 Turbo 7 LAC GTD

The third event of APT Day 5 was played out last night was the Turbo 7 Lakhs GTD event. The tournament received a total of 470 entries (249 entries+221 re-entries) creating a prize pool of INR 7,05,000! This resulted in 54 places being paid with a min. cash of INR 3,243. Gautam ‘M8a7’ Rohilla became the second player in this series to win a second event! He shipped this massive event by beating ‘aceskings4’ in the final heads-up. Gautam ‘M8a7’ Rohilla earned himself a trophy as well as a massive payout of INR 1,41,705! ‘aceskings4’ earned the second place payout of INR 99,334!

APT#24 PLO Highroller 25 LAC GTD

Next up was the massive 25 Lakhs GTD PLO Highroller for a buy-in of INR 11,000. The tournament received a total of 266 entries (142 entries+124 re-entries) creating a prize pool of INR 26,60,000! This resulted in 36 places being paid with a min. cash of INR 18,900. Karan ‘bozo’ Kapur shipped his first ever APT event after beating Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood in the final heads-up battle. Sood had a 2:1 chip lead entering the heads-up but had a hard time taking down Kapur. Kapur’s lead widened to 2:1 then 6:1 that even when Sood doubled up with 10♦ J♣ 8♥ J♥ flush on a board K♠ 2♥ 7♥ 10♠ 6♥ to bozo’s 9♣ 5♦ 6♣ 7♦ two pair, he was still more than 2:1 ahead. The final hand came immediately after with Sood A♥ 10♦ 9♥ 8♦ blank to bozo’s A♦ K♦ K♣ 10♥ on a board 3♣ 7♥ Q♥ 3♦ Q♣. Karan Kapur earned himself a payout of INR 5,87,594 while Gaurav Sood earned INR 4,12,300 for second place!

APT#25 6-Max Hyper 4 LAC GTD

The final event of Day 5 of the series was the 6-Max Hyper 4L GTD event for a buy-in of INR 1,375, the tournament received a total of 393 entries, creating a total prize pool of INR 4,90,000! With 45 places paid and a min. cash of INR 2,751, Armaan ‘armaan007’ Kochhar beat Chirag ‘ancientkj’ Sodha in the final heads-up to ship the event. ‘Armaan007’ closed it out quite fast with 10♠ Q♠ pair beating Sodha’s 9♥ 9♠ on a board 5♣ K♥ 4♠ Q♣ 5♦. Armaan Kochhar earned the first place payout of INR 1,03,162 while ‘miyagi’ earned INR 72,213 for second place!
