- Watford have won their last three league games.
- The Hornets are unbeaten in their last four away trips in the Championship, winning two.
- Blackburn have lost their last four league matches.
- Rovers have managed to score in each of their last nine outings at Ewood Park.
Hornets to Strengthen Promotion Bid at Ewood
Three wins from three has put Watford right back in the mix for automatic promotion and the Hornets can strengthen their bid for a top two spot with victory over out of sorts Blackburn on Wednesday.
A combination of their own hot form and Brentford’s recent slump has opened the door for Xisco’s side, who moved level on points with the Bees on Saturday thanks to a battling 2-1 success at home to Derby County.
The Hornets have been flaky on the road overall this term but have been much improved of late, and they travel to Ewood Park this week unbeaten in their last four away trips, winning two.
The visitors have also lost just two of their last ten outings on the road, so they rate a solid bet in the draw no bet market for this clash against a Rovers side who have lost four consecutive league matches.
Just one of those defeats came at Ewood Park which is why we’re opting for a more cautious approach, but we do think Watford can land all three points in Lancashire and 1-2 is our correct score prediction, on account of the Rovers netting in each of their last nine home games.
