The brand new integrated resort, The Londoner Macao has just announced its first phase unveiling of The Londoner Hotel with the interior design undertaken by Steve Leung, the internationally acclaimed architect, interior and product designer together with his team at Steve Leung Design Group (SLD). Ingeniously fashioned with Steve’s aesthetics in contemporary design, each suite at The Londoner Hotel has been crafted to take guests on a unique journey for a bespoke and elegant stay experience which integrates subtle references to British culture and signature detailing.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic Savile Row in Mayfair where for over two hundred years the time-honoured tradition of dressmaking bonded generations of talented tailors to create the finest bespoke suites, each space is a tasteful combination of design details and refined materials. SLD, the mastermind behind the new renovation captures the innermost essence of London’s lifestyle through a sophisticated design lexicon and details combined with a thoughtful selection of refined materials.
The Londoner Macao incorporates five world-class hotel brands with 6,000 guestrooms in the two new all-suite hotels which are The Londoner Hotel and Londoner Court, alongside Conrad Macao, Sheraton Grand Macao and The St. Regis Macao. In addition, SLD also designed The St. Regis Bar at The St. Regis, Macao in The Londoner to showcase distinctive British style and elegance, setting new standards for discerning globetrotters and culture connoisseurs. Looking to the near future, VIP Casino, Apex Casino, VVIP Gaming Dome, all-day dining outlet and suite rooms in The Londoner Court conceived by SLD are set to open.
The Londoner Hotel features approximately 600 luxury suites, from the 75 square metre Lois Suites and Victoria Suites to the 113 square metre Windsor Suites, celebrating the legacy of British craftsmanship.
The journey begins with an immediate sense of European architectural taste where guests are surrounded by the most refined details for a unique and tailored luxury experience. Embodied in the refined layered mouldings, the suite with separated living room and bedroom is enhanced by a colourful selection of eye-catching and sophisticated paintings and photographs to complement the overall neutral colour palette.
The pleasant luminosity of the ambience in the suite is tastefully highlighted by the elegant simplicity of the furnishings. A modish chesterfield grey sofa with tiny embroidered metal studs and soft cushions in royal blue carry on a posh British vibe and bright contemporary approach preluded in the living space. The bedroom is also equipped with a knitted chevron-patterned headboard, adjoining the gracefully framed marble nightstands. The light-colored artworks on the wall and the customised carpet in houndstooth pattern infuse a soft hint of British sensibility into the space. To enjoy the vibrant views of Macao’s world-class casinos and resorts, guests are invited to indulge in a British moment resembling the luxurious lifestyle of London whilst reclining on the comfortable low-back armchair located next to the window.
The fluted sliding doors embellished with high-class metal handles slowly unfold the transitioning towards the secluded master bathroom where clean black lines accentuate the immaculate profile of a splendid Victorian-style bathtub. Frosted glass with etched striped texture confers a balanced feel of privacy and openness and the tartan-patterned mirror and crystal wall sconces give a last touch of finesse to the overall ambience.
