Anyone willing to give me an in depth guide to counting cards for blackjack?

The deck of cards is separated into three groups with assigned values. This is the Hi-Lo method 2-6: +1 7-9: 0 10-A: -1 As you’re on the table at the start of the shoe, you need to watch every card that comes out and with these assigned values, you keep a running “count” of the deck. Lower (negative) counts imply that lower cards are coming out. Higher (positive) counts imply that high cards are coming out. For example, if your count is at +8, and you are sitting at 14, it seems advantageous for you to stay. A bit more too it but hope that helps
