Super Bowl Sunday is going to look a little different at Atlantic City’s casino sportsbooks this year.
Between the coronavirus pandemic and government restrictions, it’s not hard to understand why packing a room for a few hours might not be feasible.
The casinos did get a bit of welcome news Wednesday. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy issued an executive order lifting the 10 p.m. curfew on indoor food and beverage service. The governor’s EO also expands indoor capacity limits from 25% to 35%.
Kickoff for the Big Game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs is 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
And while big Super Bowl-themed gatherings and parties will not be in the cards, Atlantic City’s casinos are still trying to make the best of a tough situation.

- The game will also be showing the game on a big screen at Boardwalk Saloon. DJ Vito G will be on site from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
