WEST BABYLON -

Police are on the scene of a 7-Eleven robbery in West Babylon.

According to police, they are investigating if it is linked to two other hold-ups at 7-Elevens more than the previous handful of days.

The most current robbery was at 7-Eleven on Tiny East Neck Road in West Babylon.

Police say about 9:40 p.m. Sunday, a man displayed what appeared to be a gun and stole money, cigarettes and lotto tickets.

The robbery comes just after a 7-Eleven robbery at a shop on Lowell Avenue in Islip Terrace about two a.m. Sunday morning.

About 24 hours earlier, there was an additional armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Melville.

Police inform News 12 they are investigating no matter whether the incidents are connected.
